On My Bookshelf

Every month, I will make a list of the books I would like to read, and will then review. I know I'm being overoptimistic, but that tends to happen for us bibliophiles. My only complaint is that I have to occasionally stop to shower, sleep, work...

November-December
Unfortunately, it was nearly impossible for me to read anything of note the last 3 months, as I was overwhelmed by a full-time job and ridiculously tedious grad school classes.  But I shall work to recover my dignity here and make a list of what I would love to be able to finish in the next few weeks, with the help of Christmas vacation.

Here goes:

1. The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater (done and done!)
2. A Feast for Crows by George R. R. Martin
3. Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson
4. The Dovekeepers by Alice Hoffman
5. Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz
6. The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
7. The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
8. Matched by Ally Condie

I always feel better having a long list of books to read than when I have to scrounge around for literary crumbs.
